Hard, crystalline deposits that form inside the kidneys when urine becomes concentrated. They range from a grain of sand to a golf ball in size, and may travel down the urinary tract.
Stones that form in the bladder, or migrate from the kidney into the ureter. They block urine flow and trigger pain, bleeding, and infection if not treated promptly.
Abdominal tissue pushes through a weak spot in the groin. Inguinal hernias occur in the inguinal canal; femoral hernias appear just below the groin crease. Both require surgical repair.
